XFINITY MOBILE: FAMILY OF DEVICES SHOWCASE

Create a 3D animated spot showcasing the features in Xfinity Mobile’s family plan and the capabilities of switching and mixing and matching multiple lines at any time.
Highlight the best in LTE coverage.
Highlight the capabilities of connecting to millions of WiFi Hotspots all over the country.
Keep the brand’s aesthetic with minimal color and a studio lit background.
MY CONTRIBUTIONS
I worked together with two other animators on this spot, but I set out to do the more detailed cityscape/map section. I repurposed an older version of this ad and modernized it using GSG Cityscape plugin. From there I modeled and designed the city grid, landscape, river, and bridges. The transition through the clouds to reveal the United States was an additional add to help blend the two scenes together, but the map section was meant to feel more MoGraph than detailed or real compared to the city for example.
