All about the bizzness :

Since I began in the Motion Graphic Design industry, I developed a passion for 3D design, animation, and a strong love for all things within the digital art realm. Through my tenure working full time as a motion artist, my skills have grown rapidly leading to the discovery of an addiction to try out new techniques, creative ideas, and to experiment with different software and other industry plugins. My dedication to expanding my knowledge in 2D, 3D, and VFX techniques encourages an eagerness to take on larger roles, projects, and to utilize my leadership qualities.

I admire the work, time, and technical applications that go into any motion piece and project. On a personal level, I value taking risks and giving whatever I do my full attention simply because I take pride in going above and beyond people’s expectations.I believe in working hard but staying humble. When people think of me, I strive to be reliable and efficient when getting the job done.

Currently I am a Freelance Motion Designer for hire and have worked on projects for clients such as:
Adobe, Autodesk, Blackstone, BMW, Capri Sun, Comcast, Comcast Business, Courageous Conversations, Frito-Lay Doritos/Cheetos/Tostitos, Genentech, Golden State Warriors, HP, Kawasaki, Liberty Mutual, Lunchables, Mtn Dew, Pepsi, Propel, Rockstar, Samuel Adams, Sonic, Specialized, Truly, and Xfinity.

In my spare time I enjoy spending it with friends, trying new bars and restaurants in different areas, and spending long weekends in the summer months at the family cabin on the West Shore of Lake Tahoe. An avid golfer, a movie buff and television show freak, but mostly I am an easy going guy trying to make cool things.

Primary Software: Cinema 4D, X-particles, Redshift, Octane, After Effects, and Unreal Engine.

Testimonials and Recommendations

Nick is the most passionate, most hard working, and most talented member of our team in my opinion. He is great at problem solving. Whether that be 2D, 3D or even IT. He either knows the answer or how to find it. He’s wild.
He is a true team player, and as someone who went to school and got into his career in motion graphics a little later in life than most- I’m sure he feels he has something to prove and really goes above and beyond in order to show, at least himself that he can do this, do it well, and does what it takes to “earn” his position.
Bizz is super collaborative. He sets realistic expectations with wider account/creative teams with sound logic and context. He presents solutions in a great way, and is flexible when helping to troubleshoot more technically focused feedback, ultimately always willing to help when he can.
I was really impressed with the way Nick overdelivered on what was asked—giving options and suggestions based on his take on a request. He’s great at deadlines and very professional
He is constantly learning and working to better himself as an animator. He takes genuine interest in improving his skills, goes out of his way to develop new techniques, and prides himself on being on time, staying late if he has to, and doesn’t complain when something bad happens to his projects.
He is already working toward improving his techniques and expanding his toolbox in his downtime.
I love working with Bizz. He is collaborative with creative/production teams, and is eager to roll up his sleeves and experiment new things, and has a great attitude. He thinks smart about projects, looking at them holistically and is proactive with making suggestions that benefit the overall work.
... From design projects for various events to content for marketing campaigns, Nick has had a tremendous work ethic. Not only does he have a solid technical foundation, he carries a certain style and natural eye for what works, which is something that you can not teach. Lastly his ability to multi-task and hit deadlines with quick turn arounds has made him indispensable.
The dude is a f*cking talented artist. The creative team was super impressed with his work especially given how quickly he turned it around. He gave accurate timelines, met all his deadlines and delivered great quality. He was also a pleasure to work with, found a way to get to a yes and was open and inviting to comments along the way.
Upon a recommendation by a friend, I hired Nick for some freelance graphic design work. He conducted himself with professionalism and efficiency throughout our relationship. The final product was the result of many back and forth conversations where Nick showed an exceptional attention to detail. Nick stands out of the pack and provides great value at a reasonable cost.
I get excited when I get put on a job with Bizz, I know it’s going to be seamless and fun, even if the job itself isn’t.
Nick gives a lot of himself on projects for the shop, he’ll routinely work late as long as it takes to meet deadlines, or to push the work further, he has been on some projects where a lot of the lifting, like 90 % of the lifting is on him, and he handles it very well
