THE VISION

I’m a Motion Designer and 3D Artist who is attracted to the technical challenges that come with realizing a brand. Over my career I have sought out opportunities to continually evolve from high-end commercial work for Adobe, BMW, and Xfinity and ended up at Confluent in the past couple of years leading their Brand Creative efforts; setting the visual language for data-driven companies with live event keynotes and complex tradeshow booth graphics.

THE CRAFT

I am in my element when a project has a healthy balance of technical detail and creative problem-solving. Whether I am animating a refined product showcase for broadcast or building out a character like Batchy (Confluent’s data monster) on the spot, I always try to find the quickest route from ideation to final render. Lately I have been focused on incorporating traditional 3D workflows in Cinema 4D and Redshift with newer AI tools like Runway and Kling to unlock new creative possibilities and solve for production challenges on behalf of my clients.

THE PARTNERSHIP

I come alive when I am brought to the table to solve problems and build things alongside a motivated team, as opposed to just a hand at the keyboard to execute. I pride myself on being a reliable, transparent, and ego-free collaborator who is willing to go above and beyond to make something amazing.

WHAT’S NEXT?

I am currently open to new remote opportunities and ready to sink my teeth into a new idea with a team that values craft and collaboration. I’m not just looking for a project to execute; I’m looking for a partnership where we can build something together.

PERSONAL

I am an avid golfer and also frequent the family cabin on the West Shore of Lake Tahoe. Most of my time away from the screen is spent up there with my wife and our Golden Retriever, Murphy. I’m just an easy-going guy who likes to make cool things.
