ALTOIDS

curiously strong mints

The 3D software Cinema 4D was used to create this animated short for Altoids as a fake client project. I modeled the containers as well as the mints, then animated the whole thing and and set it to music. This was my first experience using dynamics and physics within the software.

I faced many challenges along the way but I felt proud of myself after problem solving on my own initiative to achieve the look and animation I wanted. The biggest hurdle was connecting the lid to the base tin; every time the "toids" exploded, it would blow the whole thing apart!
